Description:
Attempting to locate the reported Anderson Butte Fire, three Type 6 engines were traveling along a well-maintained gravel road, into the sun. An engine in the convoy temporarily lost sight of the road by hanging dust and severe sunlight glare, and drove off the outside shoulder of the road on a curve. The engine tipped and rolled more two complete times. The driver suffered minor injuries and was treated and released by an ambulance that arrived on site.
