  • Description:

    On Sunday, August 2, 2026, at approximately 1800 hours, a CAL FIRE Type 3 fire engine tipped while on a vegetation fire in Mendocino County, California. While backing down a road on the incident, the rear tires of the engine went up a cut bank causing the engine to tip and come to rest on to the passenger side of the engine. The five occupants in the engine were transported to a local area hospital for evaluation and were later released.
