Description:
On August 3, 2026, at approximately 1900 hours, a CAL FIRE Bulldozer (D1) tipped while on a vegetation fire in Calaveras County, California. While constructing dozer line on the Gann Incident, D1 lost traction on a rock and tipped onto the left side of the bulldozer. The Heavy Fire Equipment Operator (HFEO) self-extricated from the bulldozer and was transported to a local area hospital with minor injuries. The HFEO was evaluated and released.
