  • Description:

    On Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at approximately 1743 hours a CAL FIRE Type 3 fire engine rolled while on a vegetation fire in Alameda County, California. While utilizing mobile pumping fire suppression tactics, the fire engine was traversing down an unimproved slope when the fire engine rolled, coming to rest on its roof. The two firefighters were outside of the fire engine during the rollover; they were evaluated at scene of the incident and reported no injuries. The Fire Apparatus Engineer sustained chest injuries and was transported to a local trauma center for further treatment and later released.
