TCU Lightning Complex Engine Rollover 2025

On September 4, 2025, at approximately 0800 hours, a CAL FIRE Type 3 fire engine was assigned as part of a strike team assigned to the Tuolumne - Calaveras Unit (TCU) Lightning Complex in California. While traveling South on Highway 49 from the Incident Command Post (ICP) to their line assignment the engine was involved in a rollover. Two of the engine company personnel were evaluated at scene and released. One was transported to Adventist Health in Sonora for evaluation and was later released.
