The Federal Wildland Fire Management Policy and Program Review was chartered by the Secretaries of the Interior and Agriculture to ensure that Federal policies are uniform and programs are cooperative and cohesive. It summarizes issues identified during the review period and makes recommendations. In part the review was a response to the 1994 South Canyon Fire fatalities.
